Mathieu Rein is a co-owner and head rider for Reinfield Farm. He is originally from Riespach, France.  He has a degree in Equine Production and Management. He has a solid grounding in flatwork due to his European upbringing and extensive knowledge of bringing along young horses from his work with the European breeding farms. Mathieu moved to the United States in 1999, where  he worked for Sunny Stevens for 10 years. He started as a groom and worked his way up to assistant trainer and head show rider. During his time with Sunny, he also worked with top professionals such as, Joe Fargis, George Morris, Scott Hofstetter, Buddy Brown, and Bert Mutch plus many others.  He has extensive experience teaching students at all levels of the hunters, jumpers, and equitation.  In 2008, Mathieu and his wife went out on their own and created Reinfield Farm.

Crystal Matusevich is co-owner and lead instructor at Reinfield. She grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia, showing in the hunters and jumpers.  She worked for a local breeding farm through high school helping to bring along young ponies and horses for a variety of disciplines.  Once out of high School, she attended  Sweet Briar College earning her  B.S. in Biology. She had a successful 4 years riding on the IHSA, the Club Field Team, and the Varsity Team. After college, Crystal taught students and schooled horses for Loma Alta Farm under  the guidance of Penny Wahler and later at Fox Lake Farm  for Allison Black. She then joined Stevehaven Stables and Sunny Stevens as an assistant trainer and rider. Her education is rounded out with guidance from Simon Nizri and clinicians such as, George Morris, Todd Minikus, Joe Fargis, and many others.
